Tranquility Acres Whiskey Tasting

Tranquility Acres offers experience enhancements including Whisky and Craft Beer tasting to their clients that wish to hold their events here at our facility. However, we have decided to host our own Tranquility Acres Whisky Tasting that is open to the public.

Come join us for a night of entertainment and tasting experience that includes:

*Whisky Expert and Event host Alex Moggridge *Summarized history of whisky *Taste profiling of five samples and guidance through each bottled sampled *Reasoning why flavors are different from location of distillery, cask influence, and learn about the aging process *food pairing with whisky sample

"Join us June 3rd as we dive into five delicious and unique whiskies. We’ll be walking you through two Bourbons and three Single Malt Scotches.   Bourbon is America’s boozy sweetheart. All bourbons are distilled from a primarily corn mash, but the flavors vary drastically across the spectrum. Spicy wood note, to hefty peanut and vanilla tones. Bourbon has so much history and so many unique expressions to offer. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!   Our scotch lineup will begin in Speyside, home to fruity and honeyed drams. Next will venture to the highland distillery of Glenmorangie, this 18 year old malt by the Men of Tain is a thing of beauty. It’s a must buy every time I see in on a shelf. Finally we’ll head west to the Hebrides to the island of Islay. Peaty, smoky, bandaid campfire-y goodness, this one you’ll still taste in the morning.   The whiskies will be paired with charcuterie as well. The cured meats contrast and highlight different parts of each dram. We’ll walk through how the science of whisky pairing works and test it out for ourselves." Alex Moggridge"

The party does not stop there! After the presentation we will offer live music & dancing, fire pitt,  bar services, and a light snack.

All tickets must be pre-purchased, limited tickets available $50 each
